My latest book, Shadows of the Sea, has been nominated for Eisner awards in two categories:

Best Painter/Multimedia Artist and;

Best Graphic Album--New.

This came as a shock to me! I didn't expect a book about a grieving middle-aged woman and a terrier to get this far!

I'm grateful for the nominations, and the added exposure they'll give to this story.

This book has helped people, and I hope it will help others in dealing with their grief.
