The iPad and comics.

I'd be interested to get your opinion on the compatibility of the new iPad with comics. I was once hesitant to put my work in digital form, having seen the screen of the Kindle, which doesn't appear to take well to grayscale images. However, the iPad's resolution and color range seem well suited to at least some comics reading. I'd much rather that people read comics on paper ( to get the full tactile, visual and olfactory experience!) but this could be the second best thing. Opinions are welcome! Thanks.
